Kwadwo Asamoah to leave Ghana next week

HEART OF Lions winger Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to leave Ghana for South Africa to continue his football career next week.

The winger was expected to leave over the weekend but could not due to the incompletion of his travelling documents.

Asamoah is undergoing a trial session with South African side Cape Town City FC.

The youngster had an impressive season in the just-ended Division One League side and he scored six goals and assisted in 19 goals scored for the Kpando-based football club.

“He’s a very interesting player; Cape Town City would want to assess him for the Premier Soccer League level and then we can decide. He will be staying with us for two weeks,” his manager told the DAILY HERITAGE in Accra yesterday

Heart of Lions are reported to have rejected two bids from Ghana Premier League clubs.
