THE THREE Royal gates of Annorwe and the Djase of Prampram in the Ningo-Prampram District in the Greater Accra Region have debunked rumours that Prampram have enstooled a substantive Paramount Chief in the Prampram Traditional Area since the demise of Nene Tetteh Djan III.
A release copied to the DAILY HERITAGE signed by representatives of the Annor We Royal Family and Dzaase said the general public is therefore advised to disregard any form of news that a new chief had been installed.
“We, the three Royal Gates of Annor We and the Dzaase of Prampram, have become aware that some people are purportedly planning the installation of a new Paramount Chief. We have notified the security agencies, particularly the police, about the development and we are cooporating with them,” the statement said.
The Annor We and the Dzaase of Prampram, therefore, urged the general public that the ceremony for installing the new chief would be made known to them when the time comes.
The public is, therefore, advised to disregard any form of news about the installation of a new Paramount Chief of Prampram.
“We shall announce the installation of the substantive chief in due course,” they said.
