Kafui Danku’s new book to be translated into vernacular audio books

BY RAMSON ACQUAH-HAYFORD

ACTRESS AND Chief Executive Officer of ABC Pictures, Kafui Danku, has unveiled her new book ‘Silence Is Not Golden’.

According to her, the book is an account of a particular period in her life when she underwent emotional trauma and suffered in silence – a condition which many women go through.

“As a woman, I’ve gone through different unpleasant phases of life, and I am very well aware most fellow women experience such ordeal when they hide their depression, betrayal, slut shaming and other situations that affect their state of mind.”

“So upon several encounters and deliberations, I decided to pen  my emotions and title it ‘Silence Is Not Golden’. This book is a solution for women who are childless, women who are waiting on God’s list for their own miracle, women who want to be a part of the solution building process, and also men who are genuinely concerned about the cause.”

Miss Ada Chibuife, Creative Director at ABC Pictures, told the DAILY HERITAGE that Mrs Danku and her team were bent on making the book accessible to every female in the country. Thus plans are underway to convert the printed version into an audio book, not just any audio book but that which are in some local dialects.

She said official dates for the launch would be communicated as soon as possible, and added that the book is up for pre-order on Mrs Danku’s website so people should go there and make their orders.
