THE PRINCIPAL of Pentecost Theological Seminary, Rev (Dr) Emmanuel Kwasi Anim, has called on Christians to rise and make a difference in order to help shape and develop the country.
Speaking at a conference at Pentecost International Worship Center at Michel Camp, the eminent man of God called on Ghanaians, especially Christians, to be disciplined and diligent in all things to help build a strong nation.
While addressing the conference on the theme ‘The Blood of Jesus Christ Speaks,’ during the Easter celebrations which marked the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Dr Anim said “I will urge the youth not to divert the purpose of Easter celebration but to reflect on the important sacrifice.
“It’s very sad the youth have now turned Easter into prostitution, smoking, and fighting among other ungodly acts. It must stop now, it is against Christianity.”
He noted that the resurrection of Jesus is the triumphant victory for every Christian. Apostle Dr Anim expressed worry at the careless abandon with which some Ghanaians, out of greed, had destroyed the beautiful environment, especially water bodies God had endowed the nation with.
“Some persons who, out of carelessness and greed, have destroyed our beautiful water bodies that God has blessed us with, I pray the blood of Jesus Christ speaks in their life.”
He urged Ghanaians, especially Christians to help stop the menace to help build and develop the country.
