Homosexuals are indeed mentally deformed

THE RECOGNITION of a problem is the first stage of solving it in any human endeavour.

It is for this reason that the DAILY HERITAGE is mad at people who hide under the cloak of human rights to rationalise the activities of homosexuals instead of assisting them to recognise their problem.

Homosexuality is illegal in Ghana. It is also abhorred very vehemently by both Christians and Muslims and indeed other religious sects.

In Ghana, though there are homosexuals, they are considered as social misfits who need help to see the light.

Any president who dares make the attempt to legalise the devilish act in Ghana risk losing elections miserably.

Every effort must therefore be made to ensure that the international community does not push the brainless agenda of legalising homosexuality in Ghana.

The DAILY HERITAGE salutes all those who have made it clear that Ghana will not accept that nonsense.

We doff our hat to the Speaker of Parliament, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye who has minced no words in describing homosexuals as they should be described.

According to him, homosexuals are “mentally deformed” people: “Deformity takes many forms; it can be mental deficiency, physical deficiency, psychological deficiency. We are lucky very often if we don’t see deficiencies in a glaring form or the other and that is why I say, if a person is found to be deficient it cannot be turned into a human right.

“Psychotic inclinations are a deficiency, pedophile inclinations are a deficiency and in fact there are people who are like that,” he stated during an interaction with Paul Adom-Otchere on Good Evening Ghana Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Professor Oquaye added: “The medical way by treating it is by medication sometimes that helps or if it is a psychotic deficiency then it’s dealt with in terms of psychology and that’s why mental medicine tells us there is a way of treating people which is not by medication but by psychosis and if it is spiritual then we deal with it by way of prayers and other things that will take you out of that situation for which you need to be redeemed,” he said.

The academic has said it all; for Ghana it’s a big no to homosexuality.
