GHANAIAN MULTI-TALENTED Radio/TV personality and versatile artiste, Jason El-A, has earned a nomination in this year’s edition of the Ghana Entertainment Awards (GEA) -USA in the TV Personality (Male) category.
According to the artiste, who is the youngest nominee in his category, the nomination came as a surprise because he did not apply for it.
In an interview with the DAILY HERITAGE, he expressed gratitude to the organizers for his nomination, saying, “I am glad and indebted to the organizers for nominating me; this is, indeed, a great feeling and a sign that I am doing something right in the industry.
“I appreciate my fans and everyone who supports me in anyway; without them I wouldn’t have been noticed. This nomination is for us.”
He added that once he did not file for nomination, he is honoured for the recognition of his hard work by the organisers, and entreated his fans to vote for him to win in the category (TV Personality (Male).
Jason is in the same category as Israel Laryea, Michael Oti Adjei, Kafui Dey, Patrick Osei Agyemang ( aka Countryman Songo), Abeiku Santana, and Johnnie Hughes.
The TV personality nominee, who, within a week of earning the nomination, was signed on as a social media brand influencer for Origin, released ‘Thing’, on which he featured Kwesi Arthur, with the video of the song being directed by Prince Dovlo.
