Okyeame Kwame to raise GH¢1m to support John Agyekum Kufour Foundation

MULTIPLE AWARD-WINNING Ghanaian music tycoon and family-oriented personality, Okyeame Kwame, has vowed to support the foundation of Ghana’s former head of state, John Agyekum Kufuor.

The elite foundation of Ghana’s former head of state is appropriately on a mission to raise GH¢80 million for the establishment of a leadership centre in the nation; and as part of being a member of the team for the said task, Okyeame Kwame has, by his own free-will and accord, vowed to raise a whooping GH¢1Million to assist the ‘John Agyekum Kufour’ Foundation.

Okyeame Kwame’s pledge was noticed through a current post he made on Twitter, unveiling himself as a member of the team, gearing up to raise GH¢80million for the  leadership centre in Ghana.

The musician, in his tweet, disclosed that he would raise the GH¢1million through arts, for which he was asking for extra ideas from his fans through social media.

“I have been asked by The John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation to be part of a team to raise 80 million cedis for a leadership centre. I wish to raise I mill through Arts .Any Ideas ?”


In accordance with Okyeame’s supportive Tweet above, a three-day event has been officially slated for June 1 to June 3 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra to raise funds through arts to build the ‘John Agyekum Kufour’ Foundation’s leadership centre in Ghana.

The event will be graced by the presence of Ex-President John Agyekum Kufour, who will prominently sign many auctioned pieces of art. Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye, is the special guest of honor.

The theme for the festival launch and arts exhibition is ‘Leadership; Africa through Arts: celebrating President John Agyekum Kufuor’.

The art exhibition scheduled to ensue as detailed above is incredibly powered by Malaika Media and marketed by the Prestige OK Communications.

On July 28, Okyeame Kwame shall embark on Hepatitis B ‘Anti Stigma’ Walk from Ayi Mensah to Paduase Lodge.
