ORCA DECO, a leading retail home deco company, has launched its 15th anniversary celebration with special discounts of up to 15% on all products.

The promotion, which ends on November 10, 2018, will give customers who purchase any product at any of their branches the opportunity to spin a wheel and win a discount on all items purchased.

At a press launch in Accra, Madam Sonia Sharara, Sales and Marketing Director, Orca Décor, indicated that sharing with their consumers was the best way to celebrate their anniversary.

She attributed their success to their hardworking staff, and loyal customers and partners for their continuous support.

“Fifteen years of doing business in Ghana has not been easy, but with dedication, commitment and consistency, the company has survived the test of time and we are happy to celebrate this day with you,” she said.

She further said her outfit was committed to the development of the society, saying, “As a great company we cannot survive without the support of our community or society.”

“In addition, we seek to give back to the community; thus the need for our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As part of our 15th anniversary, we will embark on another CSR drive by donating beds to an orphanage to be selected soon,” she added.

Though she described Ghana as a conducive environment for business, Madam Sharara bemoaned the effect of the country’s currency against the major trading currencies.

“The cedi depreciation is affecting us directly. When I arrived in Ghana in 2014, the rate was one dollar to three Ghana cedis, and today we talking about one dollar to almost five Ghana Cedis, which is almost 70% increment.

“We, however, cannot increase our products at that rate, which means we have to absorb that cost, which is impacting on our profits,” she told the media.

Ms Abigail Ankomah, Head of Marketing, Orca Déco, expressed her gratitude to their customers for their consistent support and trust.

She added that Orca Deco has contributed immensely to the development of the country through the payment of taxes and  CSR activities.

Madam Eunice Abrafi, a customer, expressed her joy about the company’s ability to appreciate the efforts of their customers.

“I like shopping at Orca Deco because they have quality products at prices that one can afford. The services here are better as compared to other places,” she told the DAILY HERITAGE.

At the event, 15 customers walked away with gifts from Orca Deco for their support.
