Preachers’ ‘OnPointChallenge’ goes wild

BY ERICA ARTHUR

PREACHERS, A Ghanaian multiple-award-winning urban gospel trio made up of three members, namely Obed Psych, Emani Beats and Edmund Baidoo, few weeks ago dropped an Afrobeat single dubbed ‘On Point’.

The new single has stirred up a dance challenge which has been hastagged #OnPointChallenge. Some of the dancers’ groups that have exhibited incredible dance moves so far include Hubes Dukes, Majik, Jims N Dims from Kenya, Levite Generation of Central University College, Yung & Saved of Lighthouse Chapel.

Speaking to the trio, they said a dance challenge was not something they planned but they are excited to see the impact the song is making. “We are planning the music video for the song so the winners of the challenge will be featured in it” Obed Psych, lead singer of Preachers disclosed.

Since 2009, as pacesetters of the urban gospel movement in Ghana, they have toured locally and internationally to preach the word of God through their music.
