FORMER PRESIDENT John Agyekum Kufuor has honoured one of Ghana’s fast-rising Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr William Anarfi Sarpong, popularly called Dr WASK, on the occasion of the celebration of the birthday of Dr WASK.
A beautifully-framed picture of the former President and Dr WASK was presented on Mr Kufuor’s behalf at a birthday and honorary dinner held at the residence of Dr WASK.
Former President Kufuor has been more than a Godfather to the young CEO for many years.
The birthday dinner brought together a number of dignitaries from all spheres of life.
Some dignitaries spotted at the ceremony were a son of former President Kufuor, Edward Kufuor, Majid Michel, Timothy Bentum, Mr Martin Ofori, CEO of Crystal Capital and Mr Benjamin Amusah, Director of WASK group,
The rest were Dominic Pawinski, CEO, Circle Link; Dr James Dakyi Clayman, Gynecologist – LEKMA Hospital, Joseph Mfransi-Essien, CEO – Afiezewah Style Homes; and Conrad Kakraba, GTV News.
The young, vibrant, energetic and enterprising business grandee is the Pioneer Leader for Vida Divina, a company which produces health and wellbeing products.
The ever pleasant-looking CEO is often described as ‘one who can even sell a condom to a Pope’ due to his excellent skills in network marketing.
Also described as a fast-rising star of Africa, Dr. WASK believes in youth empowerment and often holds a number of training workshops to empower young men and women on how to excel in network marketing.
The voguish CEO also has a very soft spot for the needy and so on Saturday, November 3, 2018, launched the Wask Family Foundation at the company’s office at Spintex in Accra.
The foundation aims at alleviating poverty and creating a sense of belonging amongst the less-privileged in society.
The foundation’s first philanthropic activity began by way of feeding over 500 children at James Town on the day of the launch.
Dr WASK is also the Founder and President of WASK Group, one of the fastest-growing business groups in Ghana.
He also has a rich and enviable experience in strategic innovation, business strategy and indepth expertise in SME advisory service, project financing and development.
Again, he is the founder and CEO of TRAMO Ghana, a company which specializes in waste management (Recycling), CircleLink Innovation and WASK Health Services.
Dr WASK has also bagged a number of awards such as the ‘Innovator Award 2013’; ‘KNUST Vice Chancellor’s Award’; ‘The Entrepreneurship Award’ at the IPMATIC African Awards 2014 and the ‘Best Global Business Growth Influencer’ at the World Changers Summit in Dubai.
He also spearheaded the United States Peace Corps stars project in Kumasi.
He holds satisfactory certification from the College of Health Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
In addition to his credit, he has a Professional Certificate in Corporate and Strategic Management.
DR WASK is also an Honorary Professor of the Academic Union, Oxford UK, an international academic association of over 200 University Chancellors, Scientists and Researchers.
