What the mind can conceive and believe and the heart desire, you can achieve -Norman Vincent Peale, American Minister and author.
IMAGINATION IS a powerful tool of manifestation. Ifeanyi A. C. Eze wrote: “It is the depth of your insight that ultimately determines the height of your exploits.”
With imagination we design our life, shape our world and ultimately our destiny. It is the quality of your mind that determines the level of your achievements.
We can split imagination into two words- image and nation. Image refers to an idea, picture of something, an impression or type and nation, a sovereign state.
Each one of us is unique; there is no one who has exactly the same fingerprints that you have. The mind is a powerful asset and it is available to all.
The pictures your mind captures are a reflection of the important things God has deposited inside of you. They are things that you alone have seen and none other.
When the picture or idea you have becomes your goal, a thing you have a burning desire to accomplish and you take daily action with intensity and consistency, it will eventually become a reality, a product or service you share with the world. We can say that imagination is a shadow of things to come.
Everything you see around you, tangible or intangible first existed as a picture or idea in somebody’s mind before it became a reality and made visible to the world. The images we form become the precursors of the things we make.
The Bible tells us that the world itself is a product of God’s imagination. Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
First the worlds existed as pictures in God’s mind. They became a reality when God took action (he spoke and it happened).
God has endowed us with the capacity to do exploits. We know this because he made us in his image.
The shakers and movers of this world are those who are highly imaginative. They form quality pictures of their future life and take measures to make it happen.
They use their creative minds to change the world and make it better for themselves and the human family in general. You too have the ability and the potential to change the world using the power of imagination. Think big. Take action and make things happen.
Our thinking should go beyond meeting needs. Our imagination should focus on doing things that will outlive our life.
We should do things for which we shall be dearly loved and remembered. We should dedicate our life to doing things that bring glory to God.
Sometimes many ideas pass through our minds every single second. It is important that we document these ideas so that they do not fizzle out of memory.
Get a notepad or journal to document your ideas. Habakkuk 2: 2-3 says, “And then God answered: write this. Write what you see. Write it out in block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming-it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.”
A serious person will write down the vision and come up with a blueprint, strategy or plan as to how to make that vision a reality. You cannot fight a war and win without strategic thinking.
There are always many options available but there is one that works and you look to find it. Believe that it is possible for you. Carry out your plan aided by the flames of ambition, determination and commitment.
What is the one thing that you’ve always wanted to do? What business do you want to start? What book do you want to write? What do you want to do with your life?
You will need to plan and count the cost. No one starts a project without counting the cost.
In Luke 14: 28-30 the word of God says, “Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn’t first sit down and figure the cost so you’ll know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you are going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: He started something he couldn’t finish.”
What’s the point in starting a project you cannot finish? You will be ridiculed by others and that will not be good.
Risk taking is an integral part of one’s life journey. There is risk attached to every success.
Risk takers become high achievers and make history. Those who remain in their comfort zones become low or non-achievers.
You cannot make a mark in this world if you are not prepared to take dangerous risks. You must overcome the mountains in your life to make any successful achievement.
Conquer your fears and step out to do what needs to be done to reach your goals and live out your dreams.
Always remember this: Success=dream + Action +faith
In conclusion, never underestimate the power of imagination. It is imagination that rules the world.
With imagination we shape our destiny and change the world. You are a world changer! Go on and be it.
Yours in inspiration,
