MP charges Gomoa Buduatta chiefs to focus on development

MEMBER OF Parliament (MP) for Gomoa East Constituency in the Central Region, Mr Kojo Asemani has indicated his readiness to work with the various chiefs and traditional office holders, particularly the development Chief (Nkosoohene) for Gomoa Buduatta community, Nana Agyei Donkor to quicken the pace of socio-economic development and growth in the area.

For this plan to become successful, the law maker called for unity among chiefs and people of Gomoa Buduatta community for massive development, adding that ‘let us work together as one people to help promote sanitation, education, security and health.”

He added that his outfit would work hand in hand with Nana Agyei Donkor and the people to see to the wellbeing of the people at Gomoa Buduatta.

Mr Asemani made the statement when he joined the chiefs and people of the area to celebrate this year’s annual Akwambo festival of the people Gomoa Buduatta.

On his part, Nana Agyei Donkor I charged indigenes of Buduatta and Ghana as a whole to work towards  peace, unity, togetherness in order to promote socio-economic growth and development.

According to the chief who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Investment and properties, the Gomoa Buduatta community lacks social and infrastructure developments, therefore would do his possible best to promote development in the area.

“I will work with my people and stakeholders to fix the falling standard of education, because education in my community is one of my top-most priorities at such I have established Nkosoohene Educational Fund to sponsor brilliant children in society,” he noted.
