ROCKY DAWUNI and Samini’s 10-minute performance at the ‘Beats of Zion’ Album Concert is the talk of town after the event.
Climaxing Rocky Dawuni’s Intimate album launch concert at +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, Samini appeared from nowhere unto the stage to join Dawuni, and his commanding baritone for the entry got everyone in cheers; not even the corporate folks could resist the charm to stand on their feet as the two living legends performed Rocky’s classic track ‘In Ghana’ in an irresistible way.
Samini came with all the steam to climax the show for which the set audience would not leave the venue because they wanted more.
The duet was so exhilarating that everyone thought it was a remix version of the timeless song which shot Dawuni into global limelight.
Cabum and Wiyaala also joined Dawuni to perform ‘Kyenkyen Bi Adi Mawu’ and ‘Sunshine’ respectively, songs on his latest album.
“Beats of Zion” is Dawuni’s 7th studio album and it features Stonebwoy, Wiyaala and Sarkodie from Ghana, as well as rising Argentine dancehall artiste Singjay Alika. It has 13 songs listed on it.
