THE MEMBER of Parliament for Krowor Mrs Elizabeth Afoley Quaye has donated assorted items to the New Patriotic Party Muslim executives prior to ending the Ramdan Fast.
The items which include; rice, sugar, soft drinks, oil and dates was estimated at thousands of Ghana Ceidie.
The presentation was in fulfillment of the MP’s pledge to fete the community during Ramadan and Eid-fitr-festival.
Mrs Quaye commended the Muslims for upholding peace and living in harmony with the indigenes over the years and called on them to continue to pray for the peace for the country.
“I just love to meet people. I just love to touch people’s needs and that is naturally who I am. It doesn’t come easy for me sometimes even if I don’t have it, I will still go looking for assistance. So I call on philanthropists, I try to reach out for peoples benevolence this is why you see what you see.
“It is not because I have so much, I just have the passion to support people. I have gone ahead to ask for prayers from the Imams I am still calling on them to constinue praying for Ghana, praying for His excellence Nana Addo Dankwa and praying for the government to achieve its vision, we are doing so many things, we need their support and prayers to do what we are doing and be able to implement projects to be abel to meet peoples where they need us most.
Alhaji Alidu Moro, the deputy Nasara Coordinator for Krowor on belgalf of the recepients expressed gratitude to the MP fort her generosity.

The MP who is also the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development commended the Saudi Bureau of the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the United Arab Emirates Embassy for their kind support.
