SIX OUT of seven persons facing trial over the killing of two police officers at Kasoa in the Central Region have been discharged by the court today, leaving the key suspect, Kojo Duah, to face charges of conspiracy and murder
The six persons who were discharged are Isaac Amissah, Ibrahim Zakaria, Isaac Mensah, Oblitey Commey, Victor Yire and Fatawu Ahmed.
In court today, when the case was called, ASP Sylvester Asare, who is the prosecutor, tendered in a new charge sheet after withdrawing the previous one.
He said investigations were going on based on recent development and as per the charge sheet, investigations werere underway to arrest the accomplices of Duah, the alleged ring leader, and three other accomplices.
The three accomplices the police are after have their names as Mike Anim, Theophilus and Kay.
Case adjourned to October 9.
