THE 2ND ANNUAL ‘Ghana Tech summit’ organised by Young Men Christians Association (YMCA) has been scheduled to take place on December 13 and 14, 2019.
The summit, expected to attract hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, government stakeholders and industry experts, is aimed at addressing the main challenges facing humanity via technology and entrepreneurship.
Addressing a press conference in Accra, the National General Secretary of YMCA), Mr Kwabena Nketiah Addae, explained that the summit was launched in 2018 with 100 speakers and 1,000 attendees featuring pioneers from leading companies such as Google, Facebook, uber, twitter, IBM and Microsoft.
“The summit returns in 2019 with the same lineup of top tier companies on the new theme ‘Sankofa- go back and get it; redefining the future of Africa’,” he said.
He also said over 40 media representatives from Forbes, Inc Magazine, Fast Company, Black Enterprise, NY Times and the rest would be in attendance.
He said the 2019 summit would welcome 3000 guests, 100 speakers and 88 partners over the course of two days of Ghana tech summit and Ghana tech week.
“The Global Start-up Ecosystem (GSE) network also boasts the largest tech summit community in the world, hosting 25-30 programs a year”, Mr Addae said.
The summit mainly forecast on AI tech summit, Blockchain tech, Space tech , VR. tech, Nano tech , Haiti tech , her future, Africa future , and Europe future summits.
