Eid-ul-Fitr to be observed home-NPP Nasara Coordinator hints Muslims

THE NATIONAL Coordinator of Nasara Club, a youth wing of the governing New Patriotic Party, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa has urged the muslim community to observe the social distancing protocols that have been put it place to curtail the spread of covid-19 as Muslims prepare to celebrate Eid-ul-fitr on Sunday.

Mr Futa, hinted that, this year’s celebration would be unusual with the Muslims expected to observe the celebration at their respective homes.

He made this known when he donated some rice and sugar to some Muslims residents at Old Fadama ahead Sunday’s May 24, 2020 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.

He expressed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s commitment to to ensure that Ghanaians and for that matter Muslims are safe in this period of covid-19 pandemic.
