Isaac Wadi may not be a well-known person in Ghana but to those who know him, he is one of the greatest talents the nation has in the field of music.
The 32-year-old Person with Disability (PWD), also known as Eyo, believes music is one of the best means of communicating important messages to the masses and has therefore put together a song as his contribution to peace in the country.
The peace song, Peace Song 2016, currently making waves on social media like YouTube, features another PWD and Africa’s best Paracyclist, Alem Mumuni.
According to Eyo, the song is to impress on Ghanaians to appreciate and preserve the peace they are currently enjoying, especially, in this election year.
A polio victim at a tender age, Eyo has defied disability to express his talents in many ways with some productions to his credit.
In 2015 he came out with a song on the fight against polio in the world. The song was widely used in the Polio campaign for that year.
Whilst encouraging Ghanaians to listen to the song on YouTube with the search name, Peace Song 2016 by Eyo ft. Alem, Eyo wants Ghanaians to take the peace message very serious.
“If there should be war in Ghana today, many may run to neighboring countries; but how can a person like me escape?” he observed.
He is appealing to organisations, institutions and individuals to assist him put a video together to make his campaign more successful.
